Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is attending the Davos Forum in Davos, Switzerland, attended three forum sessions on Jan. 17, including one on Pacific regional cooperation. 

He also held bilateral meetings with the prime ministers of Mongolia and Slovakia, and met with representatives of global companies including Coca-Cola and Amazon Web Services. 

The Prime Minister attended the "Leading the Pacific" session, where he discussed with participants how to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth in the Pacific region. 

During the session, Prime Minister Han emphasized the growing strategic importance of the Pacific region and the need to strengthen regional cooperation to effectively address the challenges facing the region, noting that South Korea has just released its first Indo-Pacific Strategy.

Han also attended the informal gathering of world economic leaders under the subject of "Restoring Trust in the Global System" and "Artificial Intelligence (AI): How and What to Manage?" 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Han held talks with Mongolian Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields, including promoting economic exchanges and infrastructure development, and also held talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to discuss ways to cooperate in areas of mutual interest.

Han also met with Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincy and Amazon Web Services CEO Adam Selipsky, and held a global business summit with leading business leaders from Korea and abroad to conduct active sales diplomacy.
