Soongsil University and the Embassy of Tunisia in Korea signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for business cooperation at Soongsil University on April 18.
The MOU, signed by President Jang Beom-sik of Soongsil University and Tunisian Ambassador to Korea Kais Darragi, aims to strengthen the mutual partnership between the two organizations.

Through this agreement, Soongsil University and the Embassy of Tunisia in Seoul will actively cooperate in building friendship and cooperation, promoting academic, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges, cooperating in areas of mutual interest, and other matters deemed necessary for mutual cooperation.
"With the signing of this agreement with the Tunisian Embassy, we will actively promote quality educational programs that will lead to more practical cooperation," said Sungsil University President Jang. "We look forward to enhancing exchanges with Tunisia and other countries in the African region."
Tunisian Ambassador Kais Darazi responded, "We will work hard in various ways to make practical exchanges with Soongsil University, and we look forward to developing good educational programs for students from both countries in the future."
The signing ceremony was attended by Jeon Soo-mi, head of the university’s office of external affairs, Yoo Tae-gyun, dean of international affairs, Ahmed C. Boughedir, counsellor of the Embassy of Tunisia in Korea, and Park Deborah, secretary to the Ambassador of Tunisia to Korea.
